Picturesque little beach nestled between seaside cliffs. Safe and sheltered beach making it great for young kids. Like most Sydney beaches, this beach was crowded on the weekend we visited and we had to park a long distance from the beach - we needed another swim by the time we got back to the car! We are from Newcastle though... More

Great beach for a surf especially for beginners. Everyone seems really friendly and it has a local feel to it. Loads of parking available.

Like every beach I've been to around Sydney, it looks fantastic... white sand, blue waters. But the issue is, there are currents, big waves and sometimes jellyfish. The lifeguards will keep an eye out and tell you where to swim and what to watch out for but it's not very relaxing. You HAVE to be a strong swimmer. And don't... More

5 mins away from Manly. Parking is A$8 from 7-7pm. Nice and relaxing. Less crowd on the beach. A small cafe at the Beach side. Some nice restaurant and IGA supermarket at the Village close by.

Freshwater Beach is nestled between Queenscliff and Curl Curl Beach. It’s a lovely beach, which is well known for numerous sand bars & safe patrolled beach. There is a large eight lane, 50m saltwater rock swimming pool situated at the northern end of the beach which is very popular with families. Freshwater's is famous as this is where surfboard riding... More

I didnt even know how easy it was to get to this beach,, just a short walk north of Manly. what a lovely time we had here and for early spring, the sun was very powerful and made the day even better. Great sand, very clean and all kinds of families enjoying the area. Just a great place to hang... More

This is a less known beach by tourists but as good as the popular Manly and Bondi. It is the next beach north on Manly beach and it is frequented almost exclusively by locals. It is a beautiful sandy beach facing the ocean and with some body surfing opportunities. There are lifeguards, restroom and showers and, next the parking lot... More

Great place to hang out with family and watch the surf. Good coffee shop nearby makes it a nice place to spend time in the winter sun.

Known as Freshie by the locals, this beach is much-loved by Sydneysiders. An intimate beach, it is family friendly as well as a place for surfers. you arrive at the beach either through a bush track or along the cliff walk from Dee Why and Curl Curl. There is a lap pool at the northern end, another of the great... More
