Visited Bobbin Head on this occasion. Ate at the Galley Foods Eatery, had coffee at Bobbin Inn, walked across the bridge, people and boat watched ... It's a lovely place for all ages, from the very young to the old and less mobile. You can walk si ply or more strenuously, fish, play on equipment, or just rest and let... More

The walk to Jerusalem Bay is one of my all time favourite activities. It's so beautiful and worth doing. The track from Cowan to Brooklyn is a station to station walk which passes through the Bay and Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park. But the bay is also accessible through the park (ask guides). It's a tough walk depending on the direction... More

Such a peaceful atmosphere at Ku-ring-gai National Park with breath taking views. I went on one of there bush walks to discover a beautiful little beach down the bottom and had a swim to cool down, Such a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. It was about a 40 minutes return walk and I would recommend to wear a pair of joggers... More

Stayed a day in Sydney in transit and managed to choose a day when thunderstorms raged through Sydney for my first run in the park. I was surprised at the size of the park and the the trees and birdlife so close to the city. Some of the paths were rugged and some of the paths under water due to... More

Had such a lovely walk at the above location today, would happily recommend it to anyone. It offers a real challenge, now i see why it is graded hard, combined with some superb wildlife where I had the luxury of spotting a black rock wallaby and sizable goanna climbing a tree close by. The views are also a treat down... More

Great (advance) bush tracks. It has a few great tracks to the beach. Along it you'll see some reptiles but do be careful of snacks. If you like bike ride, please bring it along. Amazing view while cycling/driving along the national park

I frequently visit Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park where I Love Walking the scenic Basin track and Mackerel track which is an excellent way of exploring Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. The walk from West Head Rd travels to The Basin campsite, and the ferry takes you over to Mackerel Beach. Before returning to West Head Rd, the walk also gives the... More

We drove here to check out the views and were not disappointed! Wow! We had just been to Palm Beach and had a great view of it from here. There was also a great view of Lions Island too. This is my first time in Australia so enjoyed seeing the bush turkeys, a kookaburra, and a cockatoo. We didn't do... More
