This place was a hidden gem! The owners still use a 1920s machine and so fascinating to see how they work it. Our luxury was that the make dairy free carob sweets from carob coaster honeycomb, peppermint, popcorn - all taste so good! The prices were extremely cheap to city prices for this sort of product. Carobana is an interesting small factory well worth the visit with young children. When the factory is in production staff are very patient with their explanations of how the products are made with samples to delight the children. A range of carob products are available for sale but the dark rocky road is by far my favourite!

It's a quick, sweet treat stop that will suit young and old not far off the highway and near close to the Big Banana.

Interesting to see the honeycomb being made. Awesome because they have dairy free chocolate. Able to taste everything prior to purchasing!

Carobana Confectionery is a nice place to visit just north of Coffs Harbour NSW. They are a family business and you can see the products being made if you like. A very nice older lady served us and very friendly and you can taste the products before buying. The product is excellent and very good price well worth a visit.

We went to the place on Friday and unfortunately it was not the production day. There were sample of chocolates available for tasting so you can try before you buy. Price was reasonable and staff were friendly.

A friend recommended we visit this place whilst in Coffs Harbour - and it was great! Carobana is a local boutique Coffs confectionary company which now delivers their healthy Carob products nationally and has been around since 1984! The place is very quaint and retains an eclectic air of days of old surrounded by bushland. With their older style machinery/buildings... More
