This was fun. It takes about 1/2 hour to get to Manly which looks quite interesting. I just took the boat ride there and back and it was a pleasant way to spend an hour in the searing heat. You can sit in the sun or stay in the shade, probably better on a hot day as it may get... More

They are very efficient in loading and uploading, there are some great sites to see in the short trip. It was $2.50 to uae the ferry on a Sunday well worth it. Photo is the opera house from the ferry

So easy to do without a car when staying at Manly and travelling into the city. Cheap and reasonable quick travel time as well as good sightseeing.

I took the ferry to the zoo then on to Manly. Had fish and chips - excellent - by the water then returned to Circular Quay. The ferries worked like clockwork. Great trip.

Bobbing along on the river past the Opera House and the naval base and the church where Nicole Kidman got married. What a lovely way to spend half hour. Even better if you meet someone on the ferry who points out various interesting buildings and fills your head with new facts. Get an outside seat if you can.

We took the Manly Ferry on a Sunday, while in Sydney, just because we wanted to discover what this venue had to offer. The busy beach area in Manly is similar to Coney Island, The Boardwalk in Atlantic City and any California beach-front locale. Locals, families and vacationers flock to this beach and tourist venue to witness lots of activities,... More

This is something that must be done when in Sydney. Every time I go to Sydney I take this iconic cruise. Great opportunity for photos on the water of Harbour Bridge and Opera House
