Did the Rocks walking tour with Ross as the guide, on my first day in Australia. Overall very impressed with the thought that went into it, and how much I learned and laughed over the one and half hours walking thru storied back alleys and past historical buildings that I would have walked past without second thoughts or maybe not... I thoroughly enjoyed this free tour. They took us to places I would've never found on my own. The tour guides were delightful as well as helpful.

I have taken walking tour week back, It was excellent tour with moderate pace. The Guide has good knowledge about city and history of the places. She was very cheerful and enthusiastic about answering all the questions. Really loved this tour.

As a long term Sydney dweller we thought it time to do a walking tour. Granted this tour is more an introduction tour to outside tourists and so whilst having some good facts/stories was light in historical detail for us. What was troubling was what others called here an "anglophile" view combined with a hackneyed Syd/Melb rivalry theme. Sydney is... More

Wow! So much fun!! We were able to see some of Sydney's best landmarks all within a few hours. The guides are all very friendly and work well to keep you entertained during the tour. Wear good comfy shoes or your feet might get sore especially if you flew a long way to get here . Cheers!

Can't say enough good thing about the tour. The tour took us through a lot of back streets and path which usually touris don't go. Energetic tour guides from Sydney who love their city. Good for anybody.

My mother and I did our first free walking tour in Melbourne and really enjoyed it that once we got to Sydney, we immediately knew we'd want to attend a walking tour here as well. Today, we had Leah for our tour guide. She was very funny, knowledge and experienced with the cities history. We recommend this this trip to... More

My first trip to Sydney for just a few days, after traveling Perth, Melbourne and the East Coast. I can easily say this is one of the best things I've done while in Australia. I followed a female guide around Sydney, she was so happy, confident and knowledgeable. I struggle with anxiety in large places and easily feel intimidated, but... More

This really is a fantastic way to see the sights of Sydney, our tour guide Lisa was informative and knowledgable. The walk takes about two and half hours but there is so much to see time flys by, our guide gave some great tips for getting about in Sydney and places to visit.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
