loved this trip ! caught the ferry from Darling Harbour and the ticket seller was so helpful, we had just missed a ferry so he suggested going upstairs to the restaurant which was great.

Great trip. It was a beautiful day and it is so nice to see the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge from the water. The trip was smooth and didn’t get rough even through the heads.

The Fast Ferry is more costly (because it is privately owned and, well, faster) than the public ferry, so perhaps you were looking at the price of the public ferry.

you can by tickets online if you want, there are 2 options to go to Manly, the direct service or the ecohopper, the ecohopper stops at the zoo, Watsons bay, Q station. fares and timetable are at manlyfastferry DOTcomDOT au
