Sydney Great Escapes is a family owned and run business. We pride ourselves on being able to provide you with a unique insight and memorable experience. We specialise in smaller, more personalised, boutique tours. Our late model Mercedes sprinters carry a maximum of 14 passengers, they have been uniquely designed with extra leg room, extra height and reclining coach seats, for that more comfortable ride. Our team of tour guides has been handpicked for their vast experience of local knowledge and represent our company with pride. We have guides who are specialised in the Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley, Port Stephens, and Sydney areas. You can be guaranteed that your guide will have a wealth of knowledge on whichever tour you take.

Robert our tour guide has certainly found his calling. We opted for this tour after much research. It paid off. They operate 14 passengers vans as opposed to the big tourist busses. This is advantageous for many reasons. In addition to answering virtually every question...More

Had a choice between SGE and FJ Tours. FJ's presentation is slick in the brochures with the glossy paper and the buzzwords. However, if you look closer, you get to see more with Sydney Great Escapes and Rob. The other group cancelled three hours prior...More

Visiting relations in Sydney, I wanted to get out and about. The Blue Mountains are definitely worth a visit and Sydney Great Escapes do the day tour well. If Rob is your guide, he's both knowledgeable and funny, and you'll get a different perspective to...More

Rob is a nice guy but his constant chat on the bus seems hugely irrelevant and the stops boasted about in the description of this tour are not worth your time. The wildlife park is nice but rushed and is absolutely nothing compared to say...More

Rob was punctual, flexible and obliging, with informative and light-hearted, if extensive commentary! For a day trip to see the Blue Mountains this was 'spot-on' for us, as was the weather. A great day.
