Description:

It's not only a wine tour, but a wildlife, chocolate, cheese and beer tour!...

It's not only a wine tour, but a wildlife, chocolate, cheese and beer tour! A day trip from Sydney, try some amazing wines at small picturesque boutique wineries, as well as visit a chocolate factory, taste some local cheeses and visit a brewery. Our morning tea with kangaroos, koalas and other native animals is a very special experience too with sightseeing in the beautiful Hunter Valley countryside. Private tours are also a specialty for families and/or friends. Join us! Would love to have you along. Sydney city tours are also available.

On one of our days in Sydney, we wanted to get away for a day to the Hunter Valley for some wine tasting. Kangarrific Tours was high recommended by another Tour company that did not do pick ups from Sydney. We were happy we picked Kangarrific Tours for this day trip. On the day of the tour, we were picked... More

We read about this tour on tripadvisor when we were planning our trip from the UK....and boy what a fun and educational way to sample two of Australia's principal attractions...its diverse wildlife and wine/beer making industries. Starting at 7.45 we were picked up by Sam at a central city location to start the tour with 7 other eager travellers. The... More

Sam was terrific from the minute we were picked up to the drop off at the end of the day. Good mix of wineries and other businesses in the Hunter. Long day but worth it, especially if you haven't seen kangaroos or koalas up close.

Interesting tour with good information and interaction. Sam picked us up at 8 AM and the tour was on. The tour was limited to 12 people so we were able to interact with Sam and other travelers well. Our first stop was at a wildlife park in the rain. Luckily the rain gave us a little break and probably bothered... More

I worked with Sam for months as I had a large group for a custom tour of the Hunter Valley. At the last minute I had an opening, and Sam found another couple to join us - really helped us out. His van isn't the newest, but we all fit, and the A/C worked well - important on a very... More

While the ride out and back to the Hunter Valley is long (2 hours each way) Sam does a good job breaking it up with the stop for morning tea at the Kangaroo sanctuary on the way there. After that unique stop, you're onto the Hunter Valley. Along the way, Sam gets to know the group (small, max 13 people)... More

We are family of four and all of us loved the Sam's tour! It had something special for all of us - 1) kangaroos, koalas and emus in wildlife park, 2) wine tastings, 3) chocolate factory, 3) cheese house and 4) the brewery. Also the lunch was top quality. Thanks for TripAdvisor that we found this wonderful tour. This was... More

My friends and I went on this tour and it was really enjoyable. We met the guild and he was very friendly and full of great energy. I would highly recommend this tour. The wild animal park, wineries, chocolate factory and brewery was very enjoyable. It was also relaxing and educational.

We absolutely adored Sam. He genuinely is a great, down to earth, funny, very personable person. My niece and I loved him! We did the winery, wildlife, chocolate, cheese and brewery tour. My niece was ecstatic to pat a koala and kangaroo. Wish Sydney was closer to the Hunter Valley so we could have visited more wineries and spend more... More

Wife and I booked this tour based on reviews we read, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! Our tour group consisted of two American couples (including us) and a family of three from the UK. Sam was a great guide, showing us the sights but letting the experts take the lead at the... More

Hi Matthew, thanks for writing your review...I'm really happy you enjoyed the day as it was wonderful to have you along. I just thought I would point out to anyone who reads this though, that breakfast is never mentioned or offered on this tour. We advise you have breakfast before you start the tour. We offer 'morning tea' which is... More
