We came here on a Thursday and had such a fun night. There were $10 cocktails - all the cocktails we tried were delicious. We also had the haloumi sliders, a pizza and the Greek salad. The live music was fantastic and added to the atmosphere.

Came in for lunch recently with some friends and whatever is being done recently is delightful. The staff on were so nice and friendly, the food was to die for I had a Greek salad and a steak, but from the looks of the other food we order I could have eaten the whole menu, well done I'm coming back... Today we spent the entire afternoon at The Argyle. Upon trying to utilise the Sunday offers a friend of ours was over charged. The on duty manager (purple shirt slicked hair) proceeded to get confrontational and tell us we were in the wrong. As a group we'd just spent over $70 at the bar (added to the near $500 we'd... I had booked a table for 30 people at the Argyle on Friday to celebrate a Colleagues leaving the firm... It soon turned out that the door staff were happy to admit anyone in the team who were a) male and b) white. Unfortunately for the bar staff at this venue, our firm is rather more diverse than this and... More

Beautiful place. That's all. Long time to be served. One hour for a burger and a quesadilla and not very good. Racommanded only for a drink or maybe for dancing later.

This place is great, good beer and great pizza. This place looks like it hosts a great night too. Lots of seating inside and out, in a cute area in the rocks.

Great music, crowds and environment, right in the heart of Sydney. If you are in the land down under on a weekend, and looking to party, this is the place to go. A short walk from Circular Quay, The Rocks is a must destination when in Syedney. Cheers

8:00pm arrived for celebratory drinks with a group of 10 and sat in a quieter corner, only there for 10 minutes when a hostess told us we 'have to move you can't sit here, these younger people beside you want your spot". This means we did move, to a different pub and took our fat top shelf drinking wallets to... More

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
