Overview
More
A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

Started the walk at Bondi Beach and continued to Coogee. Great walk and so scenic...wow! Some great beaches and outdoor pools along the way...wish we had packed a swim suit so we could have taken a dip in 1 or 2 of them. Never noticed...More

Hubby and I did the walk for the first time on Sunday the 8th of October. It was very nice, minus the busy environment. Unfortunately we chose the wrong time and day to try it, as there was a "Walk for Love" happening. People everywhere,...More

I done the walk backwards (Coogee to Bondi). It's a lovely walk, very scenic. They were doing renovations on certain parts so I was briefly diverted through a graveyard which was interesting, but a bit odd. I would recommend doing it over a day. There...More

Took the Bondi to Coogee walk alone on a sunny Tuesday afternoon in October. The trail was quiet but as a lone woman I still felt very safe. Stunning views and very peaceful. The Waverley Cemetery on top of the cliffs at Bronte is a...More

Avoid midday heat and crushing crowds. Always busy. Use buses to avoid bees to park as it's not a round trip. I prefer Spit Bridge to Manly walk as it's greener and quieter but this is a spectacular walk. Coogee Pavillon or Icebergs at Bondi...More

This is one of the best coastal walks close to the Sydney centre. The rugged coastline and beaches along the way are fantastic. As an added bonus Sculpture by the Sea starts today.

The highlight is the cemetery, which is huge. however, there are no other great attractions through the walk. You can´t get on a bus a be back to Bondi, you need to walk to the main street and get to Bondi Junction first.

I had a great time walking along the coast and visiting every beach along the way. The water was a bit too cold for my taste (early spring), but that was probably for the best as the beaches weren't overpopulated. There's plenty of places to...More

There are many walking paths in Sydney, all completely free! If you have a few days in Sydney and like walking, go to Manly Beach and the Blue Mountains as well.

Navigation is easy, as the path is well- marked and well travelled. You can get a bus from Sydney city to Bondi or to Coogee, and then head off along the coastal path. Note that while the most popular walk is between Coogee... More

I recommend to use public transport inside the city, but next to the Coogee Pavilion there is a car park. We started in Bondi and walked to Coogee. So you can end up in the Pavilion and eat or drink something there.
