Ferry to Manly and walk from Main beach to Shelly beach. Nice walk but very busy on a Sunday. Shelly beach was beautiful even though packed with no room to move.

The path takes you through some residential areas which are lovely... just take the ferry to Watson's Bay then enjoy the surroundings by walking everywhere...

I would definitely do this walk again but was a big day if you take into account some swimming and stopping to admire the fantastic views. Be aware though that there are a lot of stairs, so if you have bad joints etc. this walk...More

Enjoyable walk, well marked and easy to follow. Great scenic and small beaches to enjoy along the way. We started at spit bridge about 9am to beat the crowds and the midday heat. Arrived in manly about 11:30 ready for a cold drink and lunch...More

Fantastic views, but a rugged pathway & at 10km not a walk for the faint hearted. Most of the walk is along secluded beaches or over wooded hills.

Its a good walk taking in nature and water views. From NorthHarbour its a wide footpath than goes onto a good walking track.

We started our walk at Spit so that we ended in Manly for a late lunch and easy access to the ferry for the return to Circular Quays . It took around 3 hours but offered fabulous views of the harbour together with beautiful small...More

A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take
you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches
here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the
day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is
a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the
Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are
plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent
cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants
