Great team leader who made it fun and interesting, thanks Mitch! Weather was beautiful and the express climb was the perfect length. Lovely views of the harbour.

This was what I was most looking forward to in Sydney. We booked well in advance of our trip, which I recommend. Our group turned out to be 14 people. The prep before climbing was great. The entire trip felt very safe, almost too safe. I was disappointed with our photo at the top as only part of the opera... More

We did the sampler climb and it was totally worth it. It was the shorter and cheeper climb but you still get great views, without going to the top! We just spent may days hiking so I dont know if I would have been able to do the full climb but it would be spectacular to go to the top.... More

My wife and I did the Bridge Climb after all the great reviews we read. I am scared of heights so I was a little hesitant, but I had an amazing time. The whole experience is very well organized and you feel very safe throughout the entire time. From prep to climbing to finishing it took about 3.5 hours. Prep... More

Not the cheapest attraction in Sydney, but undoubtedly the best and the ultimate highlight to a week in this city ! 3.5 hours (2hrs+ climbing), with full prep, safety gear and it also includes a visit to the observation pylon. Guide was excellent and witty. Engaging all the way. Saw dolphins in the harbour. Great family day out.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge climb is very well organised, with excellent safety features and experienced guides who know how to help people overcome their fear and make the climb. I actually didn't find it scary at all although I had expected it could or would be scary. Instead with all the safety gear and the leisurely pace with plenty of... More

In my opinion an absolute must do when you're in Sydney. We did the full experience during the day which was amazing. You have enough time to take in the great view from the top of the bridge and aren't stressed at all to get up there and down again. Even my wife which is a bit afraid of heights... More

A very expensive exercise but worth it. We climbed in the morning which was the "cheapest" option. Wear a decent pair of walking or gym shoes. You are not allowed to take a camera with you. You will be given a climb suit and gear. The instructors are very good and quite informative. You will climb the simulator before heading... More

Wow, what an experience of a lifetime!! You arrive and join part of a group of about 12 "climbers" - this is great and really comfortable/interactive You get changed into jump suits and harnesses, and given a pre climb talk by a guide - ours (Adam) was hilarious and made the trip even more exciting! The climb itself is breathtaking... More

Stupidly expensive .. I appreciate the fact it's an Aussie icon and it speaks Australia.. but for almost £275 a couple it's ridiculously expensive and puts it beyond so many families

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
