Beautiful scenic area with a choice of about 16 different walking trails of varying distance and difficulty. Lovely picnic spots at Akuna bay or a very fancy restaurant at the marina if you want to splash out, I haven't tried this place yet though! Lots of water activities available in the area with guided tours or gear to hire. Definitely... More

A beautiful view into Pittwater and to the Central Coast from an elevated position. A nice drive through the National Park to get there.

Gorgeous Views. Nice little walking track. Look out for goannas in the bush. But don't get too close. Lots of parking but ALWAYS busy and hard to find space. Nice drive out there. Take binoculars and camera

Great View with pleanty of things going on. We went on a Sunny Sunday, nice easy drive through the park. We were lucky to get a park in parking area close to the lookout, nice easy stroll down to the lookout. Good information about the old defence armaments for the riiver entrance. Very glad to take the drive there.

Weather was great and we were rewarded with incredible panoramic views. Lots of walking opportunities too if that's what you like. Don't miss if you are in the area.

I've lived in Sydney all my life and to my shame only discovered this lookout last year (I grew up about 15kms from it). I've been back many times since and love the relaxing experience of looking at the spectacular vista that includes Lion island, Barrenjoey, Palm Beach, Broken Bay, Patonga and the South Pacific Ocean. Sometimes it's quite busy... More

The trip out there is through national park and you have to pay to get into it. En route there are many places to pull up and take a hike but we bypassed them on this occasion and only stopped when we reached the Resolute Picnic Area, a lovely spot if you want to have a picnic with full facilities....
