Tank Stream Bar is tucked away in a secluded spot down Tank Stream Way. Serving up great food and an inviting ambiance it's the perfect place to enjoy a fine glass of wine and hand-selected cheeses. Warm lighting inside this intimate bar reveals an ancient wooden ceiling, and wine-rack walls serve as a reminder of Sydney's convict past. Early settlers chose the tank stream as their source of fresh water. And while the stream itself now flows underground, the bar remains one of Sydney's favourite watering holes.

The food are costly, and tasteless, drinks are expensive, and tasteless, kinda matching the name of the bar..."tank stream" which is a sewage system in Sydney. Don't bother

We stumbled across the Tank Stream Bar and one drink led to dinner and an adventure. Built in the old water tunnels underneath Sydney it's got a definite speakeasy bar feel about it. The food was well priced and tasted great. You can explore several bars each with its own unique feel. Great for a quiet drink with friends or... More

We went here for a drink before vivid. This is a very trendy bar who will happily charge $10 for a glass or warm flat sparkling wine. So many good bars in Sydney that I don't think I'll come back to this bar. ""..""....".............."...."............."..........".......

Not a bad place for a drink although not as noisy / busy / trendy perhaps as Establishment downstairs. However, good atmosphere and friendly staff and an interesting space.

Was here for work party and a great venue it is. The room is not enormous but was sufficient for our needs....having the place to ourselves was nice. Staff were very attentive to ensure our glasses were always full and plenty of food coming around. They had a good selection of finger foods....shame that many appeared to come out of... More

Great venue for a catch up. Small yet full of noise it is a very social place to wind down. Situated in small lane it is out of the way of traffic noise yet right in the center of the Sydney CBD action.

Cool bar, and perfect place to roll to when you can't get in to Mr Wongs. But pretty pretentious people, sad to report.
