If we could do this walk every day, we would. In fact we envy the runners who do get up out of bed and run it everyday; or maybe in their lunch hour. We walked all the way from our hotel at Circular Quay to...More

Great walk along the water with plenty of photo opportunities of the opera house and bridge. We started at the opera house, walked around to Mrs. Macquarie's chair and then thru the Royal Botanic Gardens.

The walk was great.... the greenery was well kept and the trail was clean. Lots of spots to take lovely photos from and see the local vegetation.

The opera house is, without a doubt, Sydney's icon with its magnificent sails. A must to visit and take a tour. The Gardens are superb sprawled around the harbour and the views are breathtaking.

You should be able to do all that in the morning. There are tours of the opera house you might not have time for if you want to wander around the gardens longer - but they are all right in the same place, so if you have an... More

April in Sydney is Autumn : it's warm but not as hot as in the summer months. Very nice for walking about. Expect daytime temperatures around 20°C (68°F) cooling down at night to 15°C (58°F) .
