Very busy brewhouse pub (at the Kent Street end of the Rocks) with a good selection of beers. Good place to meet people who do not know Sydney that well.

This pub seems to be a magnet. We watched over 25 people walk in while 2 walked by in a 20 minute period. Great atmosphere, inexpensive, and a great history.

If you're in Sydney for a few days and you like a beer then this is one of the best pubs to go to. Wide range of beers very good pub food and a lovely building in a great location.

Came here for our Christmas Party for just under 40 people. Food was very good - either steak or pasta - both were good, as was the affogato dessert. Yum yum

I arranged to meet an old work colleague here for a pint. I walked from George Street down past Circular Quay and through The Rocks. I actually walked under the Harbour Bridge and up Argyle Street to get here. It is a lovely stone building and on entry feels just like an English pub. Apparently this is the oldest licensed... The Three Sheets beer I had here, was one of the best I have tried in Australia. The Nachos helped it go down superbly. Well worth the visit.

Not overly taken with the Trafalgar Pale ale but the Tree Sheets is probably the best ale I've tasted in the southern hemisphere and there is an awful lot of dross out there. Great pub with loads of atmosphere, it will be high on the places to visit.

The Lord Nelson is in a fantastic historical building in a fantastic historical neighborhood. The kitchen was closed when we ducked in, but we enjoyed the ambiance and the beer very much.

This is the closest you will get to an English pub in Sydney. Great variety of beers and wines. We ate in the bar and the food was great. We had the Lamb Shank hotpot. If you are going at the weekend would suggest booking a table as it's very popular.
