If you are staying in Sydney for a short time and have never seen Australian animals, this is the place for you. It is small and expensive, but in a convenient location. At least now I have pictures of wallabies, kangaroos, koalas, and lots of...More

The fact that me and my partner purchased merlin annual passes was the only real reason we went. And im so glad i didnt waste $40 on a single ticket! The animal areas are so small!! Most of the animals looked depressed. We walked the...More

Enjoyed this Zoo so much. We got to see all the Kangaroo's and Kola's along with way too many to mention. The views and ferry ride over were fabulous. Would do this Zoo over and over again.

Based on a suggestion in the Sydney forum for travelers who are short on time, we visited the Wild Life Sydney Zoo in a few hours instead of spending a day at the Taronga Zoo. This is a good choice for anyone who wants to...More

We wanted to see koalas and kangaroos so I checked the reviews for Featherdale, Taronga and here. Taronga zoo website showed a number of exhibits down for maintenance and Featherdale looked ok but Wild Life Sydney also had good reviews and it was very close...More

The Term "Zoo" might be a bit misleading, if you expect a traditional variety of animals from across the planet in wide open spaces. Wildlife Zoo is located inside a building in Darling Harbour, and its focus is to showcase on the unique parts of...More

This is a great way to get to see some Australian wildlife without leaving the city, but be warned, get there as early as you can because the line can be horrendous. It's hard to imagine how to fit that much wildlife into a small...More

I actually prefer this zoo over Taronga. I found the layout MUCH better and the price is ridiculously cheaper, especially if you bundle with some of the other attractions. Not to mention you have to pay for an expensive boat ride to get to Taronga...More
