Actually felt like we had arrived in Australia after a visit to the Kangaroo Sanctuary one evening. Great pick up from our Hotel so could relax until we got there. Great to be able to hold the baby kangaroos and feed them. Admired Brolga, his knowledge, his passion and his work is wonderful looking after all the different kangaroos, particularly... More

Brolga is such a lovely person and you will learn so much about these beautiful creatures and how to look after joeys. You get to see them in their natural habitat and get a chance to interact with them in wonderful ways. So special and heartwarming and a real antidote to the 'processed tourism' you get in so many other... More

This was a wonderful experience, what this man has done for these animals is wonderful. He has given up a lot to look after these animals and to educate the public.

We had a large bus full and I was stunned but it turned out to be fabulous.Brolga met the bus and explained things and made us all so aware of the habitat of the kangaroo and his love for the animal I was just about to move up there and become a volunteer. Each of us shared for only a... More

Brolga's passion for his orphaned kangaroos is amazing. He has dedicated his life to saving the lives of kangaroos that needed a Mum. When in Alice this MUST be on your list of places to visit. Brolga has limited times where he accepts visitors, so check his Facebook page before you come to visit.

An amazing place run by Chris Barns aka Brolga. Only does guided tours a couple of evenings a week so you must pre-book. This is to keep the place as natural as possible for the Kangaroos who are THE priority. Chris is great and hosts the tours personally showing a real interest in visitors. His passion for his animals or... More

Words just cannot describe how excited I was when I was kissed by the kangaroo baby that I was holding.Brolga is a wonderful host and finally meeting him in person was like a little wish comes true. I really admire him that instead of chasing after the material world, he chases after kangaroos. Looking forward to going back again next... More

This was the highlight of my holiday! Brolga is a great host and the tour was fantastic. He provided a lot of information and having the opportunity to hold a baby kangaroo was awesome. Would love to go back again and again!
