The stores at the centre are well stocked but expensive.we were in the Emu walk apartments with a kitchen, but found it equally priced to eat at Geckos Restaurant as shopping for food at the IGA

Given that this place has what is effectively a captive audience, consisting either of holidaymakers or the local indigenous population, and therefore no competition, I suppose they can get away with charging top dollar for pretty much everything. Even by Australian standards, it is an...More

Most things you would need here during your stay. Bank, Post office, several gift shops, IGA supermarket, Cafes and Tourist Centre. Prices are very high I suppose due to the remote location but handy to have access to a few shops.

The staff are great. The IGA is remarkably cheap. The locals are laid back and friendly. The young folk working up there are having the time of their life in a magical place.
