Watching the sunrise was great but the trip to Uluru itself was so very special. Our guide Amy was just a delight.

was a great guide and very informative. The sunrise was a highlight and took us to an uncrowded place to view just our group. Found the walking fine for my young kids and mother so not too much.

An amazing way to experience Uluru. Breakfast while watching the sunrise and then getting up close to Uluru to understand more about its significance. Amy our guide was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about sharing this with us.

No the Desert Awakenings doesn't include a hike around Uluru, the tour bus drives around the Rock and stops a few times including the cultural centre where you can hire a bike. Other tours that include the 13km walk are... More
We will be there in February. I was wondering if the many flies are not spoiling the experience of an open air breakfast? And doen't it get hot under a fly net while walking?

Hmmm! February is probably not the best time to be anywhere in the NT. Temperatures go very high ( 40c + ). If you have been able to arrange a tour take the advice of the tour guides. I should imagine that the very early... More

They really have it down to a fine art-explain your situation when you book, they could give you a shorter tour!
