Clean, no charge to enter, toilets. Do not expect truly amazing collections of plants, but not bad considering the size of the town etc.

One of my favourite places in Darwin - our botanic gardens are absolutely breathtaking. The place has some intense mana and a warm and inviting atmosphere. Scenic, relaxing and so much to enjoy.

Thank you, Ola K, for your positive review! It's great to hear that you enjoy the Gardens so much. During the Wet, they are even more lush and beautiful, we think. More

This is a must see for all visitors to our great top end, I myself whilst a local visit this area a least twice a year just to take in the quiet and relaxing tropical gardens atmosphere. Takes a little effort though as you need your walking legs on to enjoy all that is on offer. You will be amazed... More

It botanic garden is beautiful to walk. The rainforest is amazing and it seem cooler than other parts of the garden. We have seen so many tropical trees and flowers and that reminded my of home in Asia.

Ride bus 4 from downtown main bus terminal to the casino bus stop. Cross the street and walk approximately 1 km to the gardens. There were numerous gardens including a rainforest and native plants with a variety of walking paths. Allow at least 2 hours for exploring. Catch bus 4 across the street from the casino to ride back to... More

Nice garden and quite a good number of birds. A nice looking Rufous Owl was perching quietly on a dark path.
