Travelled the area for a few days late last year.Because the water is very shallow the water is to hot to really enjoy. Mataranka hot springs a far better to look at and swim in but a further distance from darwin.

A great day out exploring. The hot springs are very hot in some places . A great place to bring visitors, for a day trip or camping. Facilities are clean but bring all your necessities as there are no shops near by

Stopped in for a short swim, amazing place especially when you are in the middle of no where really and the water in parts is boiling, lovely sandy banks and some parts of the water were just right, beware of the hot parts though

We drove in a hire car there. Our car hire said we can travel on formed gravel roads which this was. We did go through a small stream. We went to litchfield park before and didnt have allot of time at the springs. I suggest... More
