Indo Pacific Marine began on 1971 as a privately funded project to develop and establish onshore marine ecosystems highlighting the unique features and biodiversity of the coral reefs that are in our Darwin waters.Indo Pacific Marine has become the longest established man made facility in the NT and has received industry recognition for its excellene over many years, in areas of conservation, eco tourism and education.

The place was very old and needed cleaning. No aircon or fans and very hot and stuffy in the wet season.

Very limited sealife other than coral. Very dirty tanks with bugs floating on the top. It took less than an 30 minutes to see everything and at $27 per adult is a complete ripoff.

A truly authentic experience in Darwin. I learnt a lot about local marine life, the owner is a lovely man with an abundance of knowledge and a true passion for what he does! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Definitely no snorkelling, it is an aquarium and I wouldn't waste my time going there

Hi there, this is an exhibit where you walk around and look into the tanks, no snorkelling here :) Its a great exhibit and I'd thoroughly recommend it. I can't remember the pricing though. Have fun
