Fantastic View

Great place to take tourists to visit, fantastic view. Coffee shop is okay also wasn't great but they are banking on you coming for the view not the food.

Nice to head out for the day, to check out the sites or Brisbane. You can see the Gold Coast and sunny coast from there as well as the mountain rangers there is a return up there with a coffee shop

I travelled by car to the viewpoint and had a little difficulty parking. I picked a busy day. I only went for the view and didn't eat in any of the facilities. The gift shop I found to be very interesting. The view was spectacular and well worth the trip. I have heard that the view is even better at... More

A lovely, inexpensive, place to visit for local families with kids of all ages and of course travellers. It offers the best view of Brisbane that I'm aware of. There's a restaurant up top, or you can just grab some ice creams and roam around. There are a few walking tracks and sitting areas, however, I have not used these... More

With limited parking it was a fair hike to the top. No shade at the lookout. meant limited time scanning the view. Many tourists all vying for the same view didn't help. I would definitely be mindful of the time of day next trip when visiting between December and February. Take plenty of water & snacks unless visiting the Summit... More

Drove to top of Mount for view from Lookout. Excellent view of Brisbane and mountains beyond. Liked the Brisbane River that was laid out in the tile floor of the lookout. It shows the many twists and turns in the river as it goes through Brisbane. Good explanations and what is being looked at in the distance.

We stopped briefly at the lookout travelling into Brisbane ftom Toowoomba. Even in the rain shower, which was very refreshing, the views of the city were fantastic . Our stop was brief and there is so much more with the walks available to explore.

Wonderful views over Brisbane but very crowded on Saturday. Had lunch at cafe and food was ordinary. Coffee not bad and gelato good when it was 34 degrees. Would recommend early or late visit, but probably not lunch at the cafe.

A great vantage point for checking out Brisbane. Usually very packed with tourists and day trippers so be prepared to have trouble finding a car park. Coffee shops and restaurants do a good trade and have a good variety of food to appeal to all tastes. Watch as you are heading up the mountain as it is a ridiculously low... More
