Colmslie Beach Reserve in Brisbane is a nice family park area with some great play contraptions for kids or kids of all ages. Since we are kids at heart we had a fun time recently jumping all over the play areas, being a bit obnoxious and having a nice barbeque with some friends from the area. Nice, peaceful, clean, only... If you are visiting raptis at Christmas time to collect your seafood and have the kids with you then call in to colmslie beach park and let them have a play. You will destress and they will have fun.

I'm a nanny and make regular trips to this park. There are so many things to keep the kids entertained. From slides to a flying fox. The obstacle course is great fun and playing on the beach by the Brisbane River is a must. There is plenty of parking and there are bbq's and shelters scattered around the grounds. A... More

My daughter (very young) really enjoyed herself There was enough space for a lot of people and I could see her without having to move around much Only downfall is some of the equipment seemed to be quite aged

We loved the fact it was so spacious, pretty and many different ages could enjoy what was on offer. Barbecues and seating, toilets and parking all available. Downsides were it could do with a tidy up and in some areas smelt abit.. I was concerned with my kids touching some of the stuff as it did feel unclean. That said... More

Different from the norm as has parking an space. A flying fox, obsticle course, scate track and beach. Popular with large family group parties. My boyloves it, but mixing up crazy kids with other groups can require supervision.

I went there for an Easter picnic and had my son shot at with a slingshot. When I asked the boy in question to not we were abused by him and his father who later bailed me up and threatened me. It is a breeding ground for bogans and rough people. I will never take my children to that unsafe... More

I thought this reserve was a great place for kids, with plenty of room for them to run around. Great place for kids birthday parties.

The kids loved this park! We went here for many get togethers or birthday parties. Different from other parks in Brisbane.

If you are there on dusk take the mozzie repellent. It is a nice park I visit it often and usually end up picking up rubbish left by other users, it is a great park for young kids and family gatherings. You can put your feet in the river on the beach, fish, it is right next to Raptis (sp?)... More
