Walking through the gardens was the best meditation I've ever experienced. Lush sections alongside open places with gorgeous greenery. Then you got to walk right next to the river, and sit and watch the citycat ferry go by. Tranquil and beautiful.

They have motorized carts to take those around the gardens who cannot walk the distance. Have also done the Observatory and that was great as well. Recommend it strongly.

This is a superb botanical garden with loads of variety. It’s fun for all ages the only downside is the parking is limited. Free entry and cafe onsite.

Discovered the newly opened trail to Mt-Coottha via the gardens and it's great! Make sure you get in early as the rear gate shuts between 4pm and 6pm.

Took a bus to the viewing station on mt clootha, then walked gently through woods downhill to a really classy botanical garens. More sinage would help avoid getting lost!

Hi Dora, I noticed that the trees/shrubs etc were named but I didn't see any lists. Contact them direct, I'm sure they will be able to help you. Worth the visit.
