What a beautiful and scenic walk through, amazing huge trees, tropical feel, water fountains and features, great spot for a walk or a quiet read.

What a gem! There are so many things to see, and there's a little train ride you can take that explains the different areas of the park. Saw various flora, and plenty of iguanas! The park is quite large, and unfortunately we couldn't see everything we wanted to (it was very hot that day!). Would definitely go back!

I liked the way this has been done, I'm assuming it's a recent thing with all the new apartments surrounding. Nice easy walking/running track to go around and lots of grassy area to do extra exercises.

We visited the Roma Street parklands one morning as a change from the Botanic Gardens. In some ways the parklands are more interesting than the Botanic Gardens. However, as an older person, I found the paths/steps a little bit of a challenge.

It was a lovely evening with children and grandchildren. The lights were wonderful and I would go again. We also let the kids loose in the playground before and down on the oval area afterwards. A great time was had by all - my only negative comment was that there were no visible food/drinks places as it was in the... More

I try to visit when i have time when visiting the city. Great spot for a quiet stroll in a nice park right in the city. If i lived nearby i would visit daily.

Worth visiting for picnic or walk. Nice relaxing spot. Easy to get to from train and bus. Needs more promotion.
