The Brisbane Chinatown, at the corner of Brunswick and Wickham Sts in Fortitude Valley, is about a 20 min walk from the CBD. It's not much to rave about, but it does have some good restaurants. Fortitude Valley has had a reputation for sleaze which...More

Visited this place in the evening after 10 but realize that it closes much before. Hardly saw any people in ChinaTown area and even not many shops were open. Comparatively rest of Fortitude Valley area was more lively and crowded. 100s of bars, pubs, restaurants...More

When compared to other Chinatown districts we have been fortunate enough to visit, the Brisbane version is a bit of a disappointment. Compared to Sydney or Melbourne there is little to see.

if you're visiting brisbane this is a good spot to check out. I prefer it at nighttime on the weekends as it's really lively with lots of good restaurants.

Do not waste your time and go there! There's absolutely nothing. Only a few pubs and very run down restaurant. I was very disappointed going there. What a waste of my time and paying for my parking!

Do not waste time out of your day. It's a very small street with a few decorations. Not like any other Chinatowns we have seen, an absolute disappointment.

I totally agree with most of the latest reviews. Chinatown in Brisbane is boring. You'll find some shops and restaurants, however this place does not have any style. If you have already visited some famous (Sydney, Singapore etc.), than Brisbane Chinatown will totally disappoint you....More
