This is one of the many day tours available to tourists & one of the few that is locally owned, they have got the procedure down pat and the day runs amazingly smoothly, once at the platoon, another exercise in good planning, the submersible is fun to go on & lunch is of a good standard, diving & snorkelling available,... The crew, boat, platform, biologists, all exceeded our expectations. We did the beginners snorkel and have amazing pictures from the professional photographer of our family snorkeling with a fish as big as us. We also enjoyed the snorkel safari. The safety measures were impressive. The guide had a floatation ring so snorkelers could take a rest if needed and life... More

Was treating this as one of the highlights of my trip around Australia . The trip had to be postponed for a few days owing to the cyclone that hit further south which is completely understandable. We experienced a lot of sea sickness, luckily I didn't ! We had a laugh getting into our stinger suits, Teletubbies came to mind!... More

Cant praise this company highly enough, slick and well organised! We spent a month on holiday in Australia and this was definitely one of the highlights of the whole month. If anyone is in any doubt whether it is worth doing rest assured IT IS!! Staff are fantastic and make the 2 hour catamaran trip over to the reef both... More

The boat trip takes about 90 minutes each way and its was very sea condition was rough that I threw up about 4 times. I wish someone told us to take sea sickness tablets before hand because I was drained by the time we reached at the snorkelling spot. For $215 pp , I think the charge was reasonable which... More

As a family of 5 who had never been to the Great Barrier Reef or snorkeled before we had a great day on this cruise. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I did a lot of research and this company is great value as everything such as stinger suits, glass bottom boat, semi-submersible and environmental charges are included unlike... More

The GBR Helicopter flight to Moore Reef was the highlight of the day. The actual Moore Reef experience was below par. We were NEVER informed we could dive and seeing the disorganised and unfriendly staff in the dive area I was glad I wasn't diving. The gear for snorkelling was old and in need of repair. There were WAY to... More

We booked a snorkelling day trip to the reef on the Reef Magic II boat. We were very well looked after, the boat being way under capacity. The staff were obviously well versed and knew exactly what they were doing. The weather was not great and there was a decent swell at the reef, but I felt secure in taking... More

Great day trip with a full 5 hours on the beautiful reef. Lovely salads for lunch and the best priced ice creams anywhere- 2 scoops for $4. Staff friendly and helpful, trip out easy. Great trip for all ages. Would totally recommend Reef Magic Cruises, also good to support a locally owned and operated company. AAA+

We were greeted by the team who told us that due to the weather the journey out to the reef would be quite choppy and so it was advisable to take a seasickness tablet which we did. When you get to the reef there is an under water viewing area, submarine, glass bottom boat and snorkelling area which is included... More
