Worth a visit!

This is a must do while in Cairns! Plenty of fresh produce on sale at very good prices. You can spend as long as you like or just do a quick visit.. you will not be disappointed!

It was a very hot and humid day that we went to this market and it was very humid there. The market is mainly for fruit and veg shopping which is ok. Not much else to shop for.

Most food items were overpriced. The fruit on taste was not necessarily the same quality as the ones being sold. Has become touristy and nowhere near as good as it once was.

Do your self a favor and stop in. There is a wide range of local produce and unique fruit on sale. Also ready to eat food.

Market is a hub of activity and noise in Cairns. Good car parking on site. Lots of food stalls and lots of people watching to be had. Good place to pick up lunch and eat at the harbor parkland. Recommended

Rusty's Market is a must place to visit for those who love fresh produce, great atmosphere and friendly smiling faces. Predominantly the fruit and veg are tropical, with seasonal produce taking pride of place. Prices are excellent - much cheaper than supermarkets, and of course, food is fresh and sourced locally, as much as possible. You can also buy flowers,... More

Base on what people from the resort told us we were so excited to go to the market but then so disappointed. It was so hot, hardly had any exotic fruits (except for 1 stall with few jackfruits) and the fruits around are not as fresh or look yummy as our Flemington Market in Sydney. The Vietnamese banh mi (bread... More

Have enjoyed visiting Rustys Markets over the years. BUT this time noticed how filthy the place was, also looks very rundown. Hope management/owners takes notice and takes the markets up to a higher standard for the sake of the sellers and their customers.

I took a friend to try beef noodle soup and char grill pork with fish sauce at Saigon hut. I must say the flavor was just ok. The soup did not have much noodles just lots of bean shoots and a couple of razor thin slices of beef and the char grill, 2/3 of the bowl filled with shredded lettuce... More

Rustles Market in Cairns is world famous for ts exotic fruits, vegetables and flowers. It is only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 5am to 6pm. It is well worth a visit when you are in Cairns. One of the most popular markets in Australia.
