We stayed here for 3 nights and the beach was very beautiful and clean. There is a lifeguard for safe swimming but there are not a lot of other things to do there. You need to have a car but cairns is very close.

Nice beach at the end of the drive up from my hotel. Clean and tidy felt very safe. Enjoyed strolling along beach at nighttime, plenty of access along the boardwalk. Didn't swim, if your inclined to swim check the notice boards for info on tides and marine life.

I took many long walks on this beautiful beach. It's not overcrowded and you should pack a picnic, a good book and enjoy

Beautiful, quiet resort area. We are a family with 2 kids ages 8 and 12 and they had a great time. We walked to the beach, grocery store, restaurants. Much nicer than staying in downtown Cairns in our opinion.

Nice beach with palm trees at the edge of the sand. Good walk to the rocks and forest on South end. However, stingers and CROCODILES maybe present in these waters. Now I grew up on an island and lived on the West coast of USA for 35 years, surfer, diver, water rat and I was ready to jump right in.......holy... More

Just a quick drive from Cairns, Trinity Beach is well worth the trip. There was plenty of parking, showers and bathrooms nearby, and a lifeguard and stinger net. If you are in the area during stinger season, check the Queensland beach patrol website for beach closures, as there are days the strongly recommend you don't go in the water. There... More

Afternoon trip from Cairns, a bit far to travel for what's there. There is a beach and netted area (for stinger season swimming) but I don't think it's worth the bus journey from town to get there.
