This was one of many stops on a 3 week tour of New Zealand and Australia. Lots of beautiful flowers and plants around a pristine park. Wish we would of had more time.

Amazing gardens. A great example of rainforest close to town. Absolutely loved the gardens, specially after coming from dry South Australia. So lush and green, beautiful butterflies, size of trees, range of species etc. etc.

Enjoyed our visit. Plenty to see and a pleasing variety. The Watkins Munro Martin Conservatory was a highlight. I would recommend a guided tour so you get the most from your visit.

Fabulous time with an informative guide. Riding the segways meant that we got to see a lot of the gardens in a short amount of time with little walking involved.

The gardens themselves were nice, well sign posted, full of interesting birds and butterflys etc but the cafe was under staffed and over priced, took half an hour to get a juice!
