We did a tour from PD which first included a visit to the Tjapukai Aboriginal Centre in Cairns. We were shown a short film to start followed by demonstrations of aboriginal tools, weapons, and musical instruments (including of course the didgeridoo) and then some lively and entertaining performances from the Tjapukai dance troupe. We then we given guidance on how... More

Did this tour with my husband and 9 month old, drivers were extremely professional and lovely (thank you Steve and Heath!) and the sights at the Daintree Forrest were breathtaking. Negatives would have had to be the weather, which I know cannot be helped given we are in northern QLD however it was simply just too hot to thoroughly enjoy... More

We went to this place on our recent trip to australia and newzealand. We reached cairns from melbourne by air and reached this place by road.As name it self suggests it was raining all the way and there will be 3 stops in cable car.You have to take walks at each stops. The view from cable car is amazing and more thrilling... A peaceful, beautiful and fun way to spend your day going up on the sky rail from Cairns to Kuranda. There are 2 lookouts that you can do along the way to get to your final destination. I recommend doing both of them during the day. The crew that work on the sky rail are so happy and really, really... More

I dont recommend this at all, 75 each for basic ride..what u see isnt that spectacular and the gondola broke down twice on our return trip. There are alot better site seeing/rain forest trips sround the area then this. When you get to Kuranda its not suitable for kids at all, the hippys/locals are smoking weed in the market..theres a... What a great tour - we took the cable car up to Kuranda, enjoyed a relaxing boat ride with a really knowledgeable "captain" and got the train back. The rainforest is beautiful and extensive and the village is adorable. Filled with restaurants, bars, great little boutiques even a Butterfly paradise and an enclosure for some of their treasured "critters -... More

We went on the Kuranda Scenic Rail up to the town and then returned via Skyrail. The train journey was excellent, although they might consider some fans if not A/C in the carriages as it gets very hot. In the town there and multiple things to do and places to eat. We visited the Butterfly Park, held koalas at the... More

We travelled on the Kuranda Railway from Cairns and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The scenery was lovely as we travelled up to Kuranda. The town itself is also very pretty. I would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone, couples, singles or families.
