We toured with Bill to see the oldest tree in the forest, on private land, and learn all about ancient cyads, giant birds (Cassowaries), including a visit to a billabong in the Aussie outback. Traveling through the diverse microclimates was a trip back in time, and Bill's expert knowledge of the flora, fauna and history both entertained and educated us.

The trip was highly recommended by Hotel staff and it didn't disappoint. Bill was excellent with kids and made it interactive and engaging for them. The history of the area is quite remarkable and made the trip for me. So something for everyone that leaves you with knowing something about the area that most miss.

Bill Crew was our guide and he was AWESOME! We had to book last minute due to a mishap on the part of our travel agent & our hotel recommended Bill. We are SO GLAD they did! Bill was extremely knowledgeable about the area, the animals & plants in the rainforest. He took us through the rainforest and into the... More

If you're doing all the usual Daintree and Mossman stuff be sure to consider adding this trip to your schedule. Bill (Crew) takes you where he thinks you'll see birds, animals and fauna in the wild. It's personalised with only 5-6 people which enables everyone to get the most out of Bill's time, including Bill !! Ignore the brochure on... More

This tour was recommended to us when we explained that we were interested in learning a little bit about the flora and fauna of the area but didn't want to go in a large group. We couldn't have been given better advice! We were picked up from our hotel at 0730 and were the only two on the tour. Bill,... More

Bill seeks to tailor the tour to your personal interest, a unique quality that may not... More

We were very fortunate to have Bill Crew as our guide. What Bill doesn't know about the rainforest, the birds and the animals isn't worth knowing. He was also very entertaining and kept our interest throughout. He took us to the special primitive area of the rainforest where we view some exceptional trees and ferns. We spotted a lot of... We had the most amazing time with Bill and 4 other guests in the Daintree forest. We saw many different plants including the largest tree in the the Daintree. We saw wild animals like wallabies and rare birds. We even hopped over to the 'outback' visiting a billabong. Bill is a wealth of knowledge. He has inspired me to learn... More

A well led trip to the rainforest and other environments. The company only take small groups and have access to World Heritage sites away from other large groups. We were with Bill, and the only couple who were on the trip. He found out our interests and developed the trip round us, exploring different Eco systems. Excellent knowledge of just... More

If you want to know the in's and out's of anything to do with nature whilst in the Cairns/Port Douglas area of Queensland then this is the tour for you.
