Palmer Sea Reef Golf Course is located in Port Douglas, Queensland, and is Far North Queensland's premier golfing experience. The course designed by Thompson, Wolveridge and Perrett is Australia's only tropical links style golf course. The 18 hole layout, set between the rolling mountains and the Coral sea, provides both the recreational and professional golfer a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The club house set overlooking the lush tropical rain forest is open for breakfast and lunch daily, and the Sunday Roast is a must. Whether you are looking for a game of golf, or just to relax on the deck for lunch and a drink, then don't miss the Palmer Sea Reef Golf Course.

Thankyou to all the staff who are extremely helpful. The golf course is amazing with beautiful greens and scenery to match. An extra big thank you to Donna behind the bar for her hospitality and who was just too happy to help. She was very welcoming and even went above and beyond to help us with where to go while... We recently stayed at Paradise Links Resort which is located adjacent to the golf course, during our twelve night stay we regularly visited the golf course to enjoy a coffee, Pimms or beer overlooking the beautifully maintained greens, none of us are golfers but we thoroughly enjoyed the ambience of the club rooms whilst relaxing on the wide verandah. We also... The Pro shop staff are friendly and the first impression of the golf course is very good. The fairways are well grassed, wideand well maintained. Bunkers are deep with plenty of sand (first hand knowledge again, grrrr) Water hazards apparently have crocs in them, the boss was disappointed not to have spotted any. The greens are firm and not to... More

Thanks for taking time to review the course. Sorry to hear about being delayed behind some groups but please speak to our staff and we will do all we can to assist at your next visit. Our average round time is still between 3-3.5hours which is often much faster than many other courses. Make sure you also ask for your... More

Friendliest staff I have ever encountered. The course was in excellent condition (thanks for the warning about the crocodiles in the water - my ball didn't go in there once) The weather was wonderful, the food at the restaurant was fresh, delicious and inviting. Top quality chef. Buggies were plentiful to hire as were quality clubs, right and left handed.... More

Enjoyed several rounds of golf over our stay in FNQ, the staff were highly accommodating to our last minute tee time requests. We played on non members days and it felt at times we had the course to ourselves, a luxury compared to most courses we play in Melbourne on a regular basis. Back at the club house the chef... More

We played the sea reef three times in the last week. The course was in great condition. The best thing is the speed of play. How refreshing it was to play all three rounds of 18 between 2.30 and 3.30 hours. I'm use to 4.5 plus hours. Golf in Brisbane's gotta change.

Thanks you for your review. We are proud of the staff who continue to deliver the course in the condition they do, and the speed of play is very fast. Its a great testament to the course designers that no matter the amount of people playing, everyone always seems to finish in under four hours. Just gives more time to... More

Have played here a few times over the years (around August) and the course has always been in immaculate condition. Challenging but enjoyable. Twilight (after 230pm) or Early Start (before 830 am) rates take the sting out of the green fees and most resorts sell vouchers at a discount. Takes 3 hours with an electric cart.

This is a really fun course, we played in the Wednesday Comp, 7am tee time, course to ourselves, cost $105 plus $5 for comp fee. The negative is the club hire, my friend hired clubs and they where rubbish, a cheap non brand set, disappointing for this calibre of course. Also no beer before 10am... Good carts, free tees, pencil,... More

I, along with my husband and 20 friends, celebrated my 60th birthday with an evening function at the Palmers Sea Reef Golf Club. For anybody wanting an absolutely perfect evening from start to finish, then I highly recommend Michael and his team.
