Ok, diving/ snorkeling at the GBR has been on my bucket list for a long time. I was excited to finally doing it! As I was travelling with family, we decided to go with Quicksilver after reading many reviews, as it seems to cater to...More

We decided not to snorkel, but thoroughly enjoyed the day at the Reef. There were underwater portals on the platform and semi- submersibles for viewing.

Had a great day out at Agincourt Reef with the family for a day of snorkeling. Lunch and drinks were provided. Saw some fantastic corals and huge fish. Recommended to all.

While waiting to board the cruise boat to go to the Agincourt Reef, we were served free coffee and tea; and the crew in the waiting area was helpful in answering questions. Once on the boat we were instructed in safety practices and told in...More

We have done a few trips to the reef now and we chose Quicksilver as we thought it was the best option for our kids. We didn't have high expectations as in the past we have leaned towards smaller companies but we can honestly say...More

When you go on the boat is there a place to put your personal belongings?

Hello! Sorry for the late reply. You can leave your belongings on the boat or on the platoon. There are no lockers however so don't carry valuables.

A few questions about this tour: I see different comments regarding where the snorkelling takes place; is it all from the pontoon or does the boat stop at the pontoon for a little while and then move to another location where you snorkel out from the boat? Is the pontoon fixed and stationary as in it doesn't bob up and down in the water or does it feel more like a floating dock (one of us gets sea sick so knowing we're going to a fixed "land" type place would make be ideal)? As for the stinger suits, are they an extra charge even when it's high jellyfish season or only when you use them out of season? It sounded from their website like these suits were always included. Are you allowed to bring/use your own? Thanks!

Sorry, by the way, once the boar is at the pontoon, that's where it stays until it goes back to the shore later in the afternoon, but there's so much to do, you won't get bored and there's a free wide variety buffet lunch on... More
