Flames of the Forest transports you into a world beyond your imagination so relaxing and uplifting you will never want to leave.

A completely intimate, natural experience set within the candle lit rainforest under a black silk canopy highlighted by crystal and budlight chandeliers, Flames of the Forest will create an unforgettable memory at an extraordinary venue.

Tuesday and Thursday nights feature two local Aboriginal brothers sharing their remarkable culture with you during the evening. The performance features a cultural background, story telling, didgeridoo playing and song. The rainforest is the natural, authentic backdrop for this spiritual and mystical culture, a performance unique to Flames of the Forest, where you will learn about their timeless oral traditions.

Saturday night is for the romantic at heart in this magical place. This intimate evening features a six course tropical tasting menu and quality Australian wines whilst being serenaded by our solo acoustic guitarist. Perfect for honeymooners, small wedding receptions and those seeking a unique dining experience, Flames of the Forest is truly food for the soul.

I hesitated in writing this review because I don't typically leave a negative review. I never had the chance to attend this activity. My travel mate and I were booked for the Flames of the Forest dinner, but my friend was injured the day before on a Reef Tour. We were unable to get in touch until early afternoon on... More

Friends told us about the Flames of the Forest Aboriginal dinner but we didn't really know what to expect. Highlights included the atmosphere, décor and food (surprisingly good food - gourmet, not traditional aboriginal which I had expected). Performances and stories from the aboriginal people were good. I maybe would have hoped for a little bit of a mix of... More

The shuttle from the Sheraton Mirage picked us up just a few minutes passed the appointed time and took us to the venue. The walk to the dining area is dimly lit with some string lights and torches. Once you you to the massive tent where the show happens, you are greeted with a glass of champagne. You get your... More

We were blown away by this amazing setting together with fantastic food and wines but most and foremost the welcome, the story telling and the music by two aboriginals. It is definitely a most inspiring and unforgettable night

This is not a review, it is a direct order. Just do it and you will experience an amazing evening. Trust me and I am not easily wow'd! Staff, ambiance, food was simply stunning, perfect, outstanding. My advice is do not hesitate and just book as it is limited availability. Couples get a table to themselves and the wine is... More

We enjoyed the whole evening. The food was amazing. The music and story telling was very enjoyable. The man talking told us about the musical instruments and about the platypus. Perfect weather for dinner outside too.

This was a truly enjoyable experience. I have my wife a surprise by taking her here. I didn't tell her anything. Based on the bus title she started working the details out. She couldn't have been more wrong and was pleasantly surprised when we got there. The venue was great and the setting was beautiful. My only gripe is the... More

Stunning. Hard to describe... Wowed at arrival in magically lit "secret" rainforest location. Seated in huge beautiful open sided marquee. Beautiful wines flowed freely as we dined on superbly designed and prepared 5 course menu. Entertained with beautiful organic music performed by local singer/guitarist Stu Forbes. Dropped off at hotel feeling wonderful. Worth every cent and not to be missed!
