Very entertaining. Suitable for singles, young families and the older generation. The open arena is attached to the hotel and had more than adequate. We saw Cowboys aged between 4 and 50 in action and calves, stiers, bucking bulls and horses, not forgetting the roping events. Well the money worth.

We come here everytime on our yearly visit. Everyone is friendly, treat you as friends from way back, not just the staff but the locals a well. Meals are great. And the action in the arena is always entertaining.

Order a meal, eat inside and come out and join the fun in the grandstand seats and watch an action packed rodeo, fun, exciting, risky, sometimes scary and with great music to match the action. Or reserve a limited ringside seat, for no extra cost, but you must order a meal, pub prices. Otherwise in the grandstand seats buy takeaway... More

We had such a great night sitting out near the arena having a tasty steak dinner while watching the rodeo in action! Put this on your 'to do' list!

Had planned our road trip to Cairns around the Friday night rodeo practise and wasn't disappointed. The steak was great and the rodeo was lots of fun. My kids loved it, especially as we were taken behind the scenes by a lovely chap whose kids were participating. Great night just wish it had lasted longer!

Stumbled on a bull riding event just after Christmas and spent a couple of hours slack jawed at the sight before us. The professionals were just mental, they all deserve the $30,000 on offer, you would not catch me doing that. What was even more staggering were the children, some as young as 3, riding bulls, big and small. The... More

It's a great country pub near the heart of the city. Come for a great steak, stay for the rodeo. Not sure where else in the world you can see a full on rodeo in town. Doesn't matter if your from the city or the country, all will enjoy a unique night out.

A great family night out. We went along on a Wednesday night when they have free entry to bull riding training. Our son loved it - especially the part when a poor bugger fell of a bull and ended up with his leg pointing in an unholy direction (it was top of his prep recount of school holidays!) Drinks are...
