This little gem is just off the highway and if you have time it is highly recommended you go. The staff were great and the tour even better!

We enjoyed our stop at the Capricorn Caves. It's privately owned which is a little different. They had a lizard out when we first got there who had a bit of a projectile poop all over our guide ... stunk more than I thought it...More

This is definitely a must see. Caves are wonderful. Wheelchair access is available. There is a shop and a kiosk. You can even stay there in cabins or bring your own camper or van. Excellent sightseeing place to go!!

Travelled by car so can't help you there .Sure if you contact Rockhampton Information centre they would be able to assist you.

The caves have been closed due to damage caused by catogory 5 cyclone Marcia. They are back open and suggest you contact the caves for travel options. They are about 14 kms from Rockhampton.

Would like a room recommendation - Plan to stay 5 night with husband, 3 year old and I........ We are also planning to bring my mother so husband and I can do some water activities. What room would be suitable - mum and 3 year old would be happy to sleep together in a double/queen. thank you

Hi hellyhell, for water activities I would recommend to stay in Yeppoon. We spend there a few days in a caravan park however! The beach is beautiful just for a 3 old and in Rosslyn Bay you can start a couple of water... More
