Wanting to get off the beaten track? Try the adventure caving tour where you climbing, crawl and squeeze your way through the cave with the light of a torch till your surface on the cave ridge with 360 degree views. The tour can be adjusted to suit all age brackets and needs with family and adult only options available.

Wheelchair accessible for Cathedral tour. Really interesting and well presented caves. Guide played music and turned off all lighting while we were in the main Cathedral area to demonstrate the amazing acoustics. Great fun trip.

On your travels between Rockhampton and Mackay do yourself a favour and take an hour to turn off at the Capricorn Caves. A great caves tour for a great price. And a great place to stay for the night as well. Nice and clean amenities....More

Mindy omg what a voice you have the singing you did in the cathedral part was just awsome. So full of imformation on the history of these caves. Great staff. Food was awsome after the caves. Well worth every cent

We did the two tours, Cathedral Cave which was really amazing and then did the Fossils Tour. The first tour is wheelchair accessible, if required, and you get to see and hear great sights and amazing acoustics. The guides are very up beat and enthusiastic....More

Hi! The caves are only accessible on tour, we have several varieties of tour available There is no need to book for a Cathedral cave tour as it runs every hour on the hour, every day 9-4 Its a sealed road the entire way... More

I think JasonL may be referring to the Mt Etna caves and yes they are fenced off due to vandalism
