The whales are heading north to Hervey Bay right now in greater numbers it appears, every year now. It is a 'must see' if you are on the east coast. Grab your binoculars or jump on a boat tricot see these fantastic mammals!

We went in early November and it was just at the end of the season. I wouldn't go later than that.

The whale watching season on the Gold Coast operates from 1 June to 31 October each year.

We were there mid June. There were plenty to see. Give them a call and ask.
