Thought we would do the semi sub trip as we did not snorkel on the reef. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the fish and types of coral we saw. A great experience.

On our trip to Great barrier reef, we took this semi-submarine trip. Great views and so many coral varieties and fish population. But, all we saw was white (and off-white) reefs. Where are the bursting out colors we see in National Geographics?

The boat trip was great and the Corals - so many types, so many beautiful colours.. The breath-takingly spectacular fish, turtles and dolphins make this trip an absolute must do.

Hi, I am prakash from Pune. We- 2 couples- all above 60 are planning to visit cairns. Since none of us want to go into water for snorkelling, we are looking at options of Glass Bottom and semi submersible boats. Pl let me know where had you gone? Fitzory Island or Green Island? Who was the tour oprrator and how was the experience? Waiting for your answer.

From which place did you take the submarine ride. Did you snorkel in the barrier reef? Can a non-swimmer do it too?
