Waddy Point is a beautiful part of Fraser Island with convenient amenities like $2 coin operated showers, toilets and a store / petrol station just a 10 minute drive away. So pretty and isolated which has its perks but unfortunately we were there when torrential...More

Another awesome spot on Fraser Island. Beautiful white sands and beautiful Sand dunes to climb and take in the breathtaking views as far as the eye can see. Another spot to try your luck at fishing and four wheel driving.

Such a cool place to see some amazing rock formations and the views are stunning. The swimming was nice as the waves weren't that big.

Waddy point has a great camping ground. Fishing here is great. Because a lot of people are fishing, Waddy and surrounds are your best chance to see a Dingo wandering the beach.

Waddy Point is a wonderful day out and the best thing is that the backpacker 4wd groups are not allowed past Champagne Pools so it keeps it that little bit less crowded.

I wouldn't say dangerous though a high degree of caution is needed when getting over cuttings. Allow time between each vehicle when leaving beach to enter cutting. Often a bogged vehicle will be stuck just out of view & you... More
