WILD LIFE Hamilton Island is one of only a few places in the world where you can experience the thrill and excitement of cuddling a koala. This is an excellent opportunity to get up close and personal with one of Australia's most famous and unique animals. Other experiences include Breakfast with the Koalas, Koala Cuddle Photos, personal encounters with other animals including our Dingoes, Snakes and Lizards, our Keeper Tours (free with admission) and the Twilight Tour and BBQ. Due to cyclone. The Wild Life Park is still closed for repair. Was told there were no animals got hurt during the cyclone. They all have been relocated except the crocodile.

I came here for the koala cuddles and being up that close was amazing. Having read other reviews yes you can't cuddle the koala for ages but I don't think it would be fair on the animals to do longer. The keepers take great care...More

I have been here several times for breakfast but feel the latest visit was a little of a disappointment. The food didn't seem as good and the children left quite a bit. To get close and personal with the wildlife was quite expensive, which was...More

Besides for the restaurant having wonderful meals, visitors of the restaurant get to experience outdoor dining with Koala Bears in the surrounding trees of the restaurant. This restaurant however is not open for dinner and only serves breakfast and lunch.

This is a small enclosure with limited area, however would be excellent for kids who don't want to traipse around for hours. You can see it all in about 30 mins. Keeping this in mind, and the adult cost of AUD12, it is worth a...More

Many thanks for your feedback. Sadly some folks do have conflicting opinions of animals in captivity and we are all entitled to these opinions. I can only reassure you that as an Accredited Member of the Zoo and Aquarium Association of Australia, the welfare of...More

We went here for a couple of hours mainly to see the Dingo's but were unsuccessful as they appeared to be hiding!! Saw crocs, koalas, a Cassowary and a couple of parrots. Should imagine young children would enjoy the experience so would pay this place...More

We paid $40 each for the Koala Cuddle, as we can't resist these wonderful animals. However, it was so brief that it felt like a bit of a rip off. You have to book in advance to be sure of getting a place. When we...More

Many thanks for your review, we always take on board our visitors feedback, positive or negative. It is fortunate that Trip Advisor does indicate a more positive historical collective feedback for our attraction and a pity you perhaps chose not to focus on these reviews...More
