Our tour guide recommended Haigh's chocolates as a "can't miss". I was skeptical, as it seems every city/region has its own "can't miss" chocolates, and we have pretty good chocolate as it is in the States. I was wrong -- everything at Haigh's is simple yet delicious. The scorched almonds covered in milk chocolate (or the scorched almond milk chocolate... More

A visit to Haigh's Chocolate shop in Adelaide was a highlight of childhood visits to the city - and many decades on, the attraction was the same. Melt in your mouth chocolate - any type of chocolate to suit your personal taste. Wonderful!

This time I went to Haigh's shop at Adelaide central markets. Great service and what a marvellous selection of hand crafted chocolates. Bought presents for my teenagers, my little baby and my wife. Reasonably priced and really good quality chocolate. Family really loved their presents. I even ordered online for other family members interstate just last week. My score is... More

We already stop at Haigh's chocolate store when in Adelaide. Love the milk almond vanilla nougat and milk peppermint creams. Never go home without them.

This is where Haighs chocolates first began. Check out the Christmas fare while enjoying great customer service.

Haigh's is a very famous name in the Australian chocolate business. Though now no longer exclusively in Adelaide I believe this is where the story began. Sited on a busy corner, in a very beautiful & architecturally significant 1890's building, the range and packaging is diverse and artistically done. Staff are well informed, friendly and very helpful. Possibly made easier... More

Haigh's chocolates are, to mind, the best in Australia, and possibly best in the world. I prefer them to any I have tasted in Belgium, France, Holland, US, Switzerland.. They are smoother, the cream fillings are to die for, orange, strawberry, almond creams, I can't pick a favourite. I adore their marzipan fingers, and their kokettes (pink and white marshmallow... Haigh's Chocolates were started in 1915 and are one of the oldest chocolate manufacturers in Australia. The Company is family owned, with it's headquarters situated in Adelaide; but there are stores in Adelaide, Glenelg, Melbourne and Sydney. It is one of the shops visitors to Adelaide look forward to seeing; so they can take some of their favourite chocolates home... More
