Massive props to all involved. This is, in my humble and not very well researched opinion, the best and most well curated public institution in Australia right now. Loved it.

For so long the art gallery had its same, stagnant, oil on canvas galleries. Things are starting to change and the artworks are becoming more diverse. A wonderful progression over the last 5 years. I look forward to seeing what is to come.

We were only here for a quick couple of hour visit. Excellent quality as would be expected in a City public gallery. A really good mixture of art from Colonial to the modern, conservative to extreme. Easily accessible, clean amenities, polite cloak room, very helpful...More

Regularly held special exhibitions besides the usual beautiful art work. A tour of behind the scenes is also worth arranging. Café available. Easy to visit via public transport.

This gallery is a lot bigger than you realise from the outside, it has a bit of everything and is well worth a visit. Comfortable shoes a must.

There was a special exhibition entitled “Versus Rodin: Bodies Across Space And Time.” But neither of us was keen of modern and contemporary sculptures. So we visited the permanent exhibition halls and the gallery store.

This is an imaginatively themed, informative and beautifully curated exhibition around the human figure in art from Rodin to the present day. I have seen a lot of Rodin's work, including the Paris Rodin Museum, but this exhibition gives something more with its forwarding thinking...More

I was amazed at the range of good material. No matter your interest there wee things to look at. Must be well managed. There were paintings from yester year and modern plus pieces of furniture. I really loved it. I am not an art buff...More
