This is the first time I've ever visited this place. It's been around for many years. Other than lots of trees and bushes there really isn't a lot to see. Rather bland and du.

'Not as it used to be' is definitely correct. Recently took the kids and was underwhelmed at the variety of plants and the condition of the whole conservatory. It needs a renovation and some love put back into it. *** Suggestion from 3 children +...More

The Bicentennial Conservatory looks like it gets lumped in with the Botanic Gardens but it truly deserves the time to enjoy and post as a separate review. So that is what I am doing! We enjoyed the Botanic Garden and the Conservatory is a spectacular...More

Authentic piece of the tropics in the middle of Adelaide. The plants were thriving in the Conservatory, although the atmosphere was a little sterile. Perhaps this feeling was exacerbated by the fact that we actually come from a rainforest area and are used to the...More

Have been here a few times when visiting the gardens. The plants are dying and the small containers which are supposed to display insects are empty. Such a shame that this lovely building has not been looked after.

Situated in the parklands surrounding the city centre, the Bicentennial Conservatory houses a rainforest. Entry is now free. There is a raised walkway, making it easy to do a loop of the forest. No stairs means this is wheelchair friendly. If you are going to...More
