A tour is highly recommended to view the differences in architecture between the two houses of Parliament. The tour also includes a viewing of the old Parliament building.

While my friend was visiting Adelaide, there were neither protesters nor reporters in front of the parliament house. I explained to her that the small building in the shadow of the Grey Building was the former parliament house.

This is a stunning building, with it's stonework and columns. At the day I was there, there was a demonstration for Syrian refugees that was very moving.
