Our kids loved looking at the displays of how the miners’ lived and worked underground. Being able to see what the miners’ life was like by walking down and through the tunnels. Wearing the hard hats topped it off for our kids.

Very informative, well set out and great fun finding your own way around the mine. Mine, home and museum all interesting. Felt very safe and thought the admission cost very reasonable.

We enjoyed our self guided tour here. It was very informative & well presented. A great insight on how the mining was done when opal mining was first started. Well worth going there.

See a house straight out of the 70's era on display underground. This self guided tour had lots of exhibits around every turn, makes one appreciate the difficulties faced by the early miners.
