Opalios has been mining in the Coober Pedy opal fields since 1973 and is still mining today. It is a family business that cuts all its own opal and creates its own jewellery on site.We have an experienced opal miner, expert opal cutter, and jeweller on site, and all our opal is cut to the finest standard. Brought a pair of earrings from this shop. It's a family affair. I was served by the mother and son who bargained with me and knocked the price down and a bit, gave me some free stuff too. Opals are beautiful

Good little shop for loose opals and also cheaper souvenirs. Stella was great and friendly very happy to help us sort through lots of stones to get the right one.

Went out if their way to explain everything and show me how the opals were cut, the difference between them all and what looked best against my skin tone. Even threw in some freebies.
