This is a limestone cave and distinctive to this area. Have visited other caves in WA, NSW and Victoria. Every cave has its own characteristics and this is no exception. Worth a vist

This was an interesting cave tour but the caves are nowhere near the standard of other well known cave systems in Australia. If you are holidaying on Kangaroo Island, I would include this as an activity but don’t think you will see amazing caves and...More

The caves (at least those that the tour visits) are limited in scope and being "dry" not as interesting as some. Our guide was quite interesting and tried his best but it feels like he had to drag it out to make the 45 min...More

Took this cave tour on a whim and came out pleasantly surprised. Had a great guide, who is also a local "cave dweller", and he was a wealth of information. Such a great experience and safe for kids too!

As cavers of old, we thought we would show our two young teenage girls what we used to spend so much of our weekends doing. The time we spent in this cave was a very good cross section of caving experiences to be found in...More

We tour takes about 45 minutes and was really boring. As the caves are "dry" here is very little of interest to see and our guide was tedious to listen to. Access to the caves is by steep steps.

Not as large and some others in southern Australia but quite pretty and easily accessible. Worth a stop if you have a spare 45 minutes or so.

There is a 5 minute walk from visitor centre to cave entrance. Once at the entrance to the caves it is 38 steps down into cave. The tour cost $20 and goes for about 45 minutes. This cave was formed from a sand dune rather...More

There is a fairly steeep ladder to descend when entering the caves and it could be a bit dangerous for a young child.
