On a warm and muggy day it was great to descend into the Kelly Hill caves. Jemma was our guide and although she was quite young she did a good job of explaining how the caves formed as well as how the caves 'breathe'. The "lights off" moment was actually very relaxing and yes it is pitch black. Well worth... More

Good, short, informative guided tour through an unusual dry cave environment - no animal or plants but many stalactite formations that are not growing at present. Very different from other Aussie cave systems e.g. Jenolan and Cutta Cutta. Also recommend looking at landscape features and vegetation along the adjacent Burgess Hike. The cave is a good option if it's raining... More

If you buy the national parks pass, the caves are one of the tours included in the price. You can buy tickets just for the caves, but the pass is an economical way of doing it and all components of the pass are worth seeing. The tour is interesting and of course look amazing. Kangaroo Island is an amazing place... More

We went on the last tour of the day with a 2 year old. He described the experience as going into a tunnel to find dripping ceilings and every night for the last week, he has wanted to see the pictures taken in the Kelly Hill Caves. The guide was very relaxed and gave a fine presentation to add to... More

I have done quite a bit of adventure caving and wasn't anticipating the trip to be as great as it was. The cave is able to offer teeny crawl spaces for those who are keen - or not so teeny if you'd rather find a different route. Thoroughly great activity.

Carly was our guide and did a great job explaining the geology of the area and formation of the cave system. It's a set of steep steps going down and coming back up but it's worth the time and effort. Buy the tickets that gets you into all of the sites, it will save you $$.

Wasn't expecting much, but this tour is an absolute must see and we thoroughly enjoyed learning about how these caves were formed. Very beautiful. I wouldn't recommend this tour to families with small children as stairs are quite steep.

We stopped here on our drive around the Island, and initially weren't really convinced about going on the tour, but our 5 year old was pretty keen and had never been in a cave before. We all really enjoyed the cave and were really glad we decided to take the cave tour. Our guide was knowledgeable -and provided interesting information... More
